Mateo Cuarón
Composer. Producer. Teacher.
Mateo studied music composition at Columbia College Chicago, la Academia de Artes de Florencia and finally completed his studies at the London College of Music. He had the opportunity of learning from teachers such as Tomás Barreiro, Timothy Edwards and Omar Rojas.
He has participated as a composer in various audiovisual projects, including short films, plays and advertisements in Mexico, Europe and Canada.
He is also involved in his solo project in which he approaches pop music from diverse angles, trying to create an immersive and amusing experience for the listener. To support this, he runs a self named YouTube channel in which he talks about music and his experience.
His Songs have been featured in Radio Ibero 90.0, AireLibre 105.3 FM, Código Indie and in articles on Periódico universal, El Mañana de Reynosa, Revista Marvin, Canal Trece Colombia, and Forbes Magazine.
Furthermore, he has had world premiers of his musical pieces at Teatro el Milagro, Instituto Cultural Helénico in Mexico City and at The Art Space in the city of Prague.
